Healthy Sweet Potato Chips
Healthy Sweet Potato Chips
When most people think of chips, they think of thin slices of potato fried in oil. But what if I told you that your next bowl of chips could be made of 100% sweet potato instead of starchy potato? That's where Sweet Potato Chips come in. These chips are made with 100% sweet potatoes, so they're lower in carbs and higher in nutrients than traditional chips.

Notes
Native to South America, sweet potato has been cultivated since prehistoric times. Sweet potato has a rich history, and is mentioned in the earliest European records of the Western Hemisphere. Prized for its flavour and nutritive value, it quickly became a staple for European and African immigrants (Huber and Schön, 2002). Today, this tuberous root crop is celebrated as a “super food” and is now grown all over the world.
