Air Fried Corn On The Cob
Air Fried Corn On The Cob
This recipe is pretty simple, but it has a delicious result. The corn on the cob comes out incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the texture is slightly crispy. The corn doesn’t have a lot of flavor on its own, so I like to season it with a dash of salt and pepper, and sometimes I like to sprinkle on some chili or vegan parmesan cheese. You might add coconut butter to substitute butter as commonly used.
Equipment
- Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 2 Sweet Corn On The Cob
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Remove the ears of corn's husk and silk. Remove any dirt from the maize by rinsing it in cold water. If the stalk is still there, cut it off. You may now cut your corn in half if you'd prefer.
- Drizzle olive oil, salt, and pepper evenly to the corn.
- Put in preheated air fryer on 200C for 8 minutes.
- You can also brush coconut oil if you like traditional butter on corn.
Notes
Corn is a superfood, providing high levels of iron, fiber, and folate. These are just a few of the benefits that can be enjoyed from consuming corn on the cob. The fiber in corn helps keep your digestive tract healthy, and the iron in corn can help boost your RDA of iron. It’s also great for your eyes since it’s a rich source of Vitamin A (which can protect against macular degeneration).
