Tuna and Avocado Tartar
Tuna tartar is a delicious dish that can be served as an appetizer or an entrée. It’s a simple recipe with only a few ingredients, but the combination of flavors is exquisite. The combination of briny tuna, fresh avocado, and spicy jalapenos creates a delicious flavor profile that excites the palate.
Ingredients
- 500 grams Fresh Tuna sushi grade
- ½ tbsp Lime juice
- ½ tsp Chili
- ½ tsp Avocado Oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
- ½ tsp Rock Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 2 com Avocadoes (ripe)
- ⅔ tbsp Jalapenos (finely chopped)
Instructions
- Dice Tuna, Avocado to 5mm cubes; finely chop Jalapenos
- In a mixing bowl, mix tuna with oil, lime juice, chili, jalapenos, salt, and black pepper
- Serve on a dish, layering avocado first, drizzled with oil, and topped with tuna tartar mix. Serve immediately. It is crucial to use all ingredients chilled.
