Ingredients
 

  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 com Lemon Juice
  • 600 grams Fresh Green Asparagus
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • ½ tsp Rock Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Set the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • A large baking sheet should be prepared by lining it with parchment paper. Crush the garlic cloves until they are very finely minced. Place aside.
  • Grate 1 teaspoon of lemon zest with a zester or a handheld rasp-style grater. Save the lemon juice for another time.
  • Arrange the asparagus spears on a baking sheet, trimming the tough ends.
  • Sprinkle the asparagus with salt, pepper, and the minced garlic before drizzling with olive oil.
  • Asparagus is crisp-tender when cooked on the middle rack in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
  • Make sure the asparagus is cooked through. Removing the dish from the oven or increasing the cooking time is necessary.
  • Grate the lemon zest over the asparagus, then arrange it on a serving platter.
  • Sprinkle the asparagus with salt and pepper and the juice of half a lemon.
