Muddled peaches and fresh mint leaves add a slight amount of sweetness and juicy peach taste to this delightful tea. If you can't find fresh peaches, frozen peaches can serve, however, the flavor will be a little milder.
Boil Sugar, Peaches, and water in a saucepan. Lower heat and crush the peaches mixing all ingredients.
Once all ingredients are combined, remove from heat and leave for 30 minutes
Until peach syrup is chilling make strong black tea using loose leaf and filtered water; control infusion to 4 minutes to avoid the bitterness of the tea.
Strain the peach syrup with a fine mesh strainer, bottle, and refrigerate.
Mix in pitcher 1 part of syrup with 5 parts of tea, add ice cubes and fresh sliced peaches and mint spring. Garnish with more mint.
